Child Studies examines the period of childhood from conception to eight years old. Students will be provided opportunities to explore concepts relating to the needs and rights of children, the value of play in learning, the roles of parents, caregivers and educators, the nutritional needs of children and behaviour management.
This course has four key areas of study – the Physical, Intellectual, Emotional and Social Development of children.
