Subject Description

Mathematical Concepts broadens students’ mathematical experiences and provides different scenarios for incorporating mathematical reasoning and problem solving. The units provide a blending of algebraic and geometric thinking.

Students will develop skills and experience operating with digital tools, from graphics calculators, graphing tools and exploring computational thinking routines.

This course is a pathway to Stage 1 Mathematical Methods and Specialist Mathematics.
